25 Years of MINOVA – An Anniversary Marked by Trust, Responsibility and Franconian Hospitality
On Friday, 24 July 2026, MINOVA celebrated its 25th anniversary. However, the company’s history goes back even further: Nearly ten years before MINOVA was founded, its founders had already gained extensive experience in the field in which we operate today – laying the foundation for the company MINOVA has become today.
At the heart of the celebration were the people and values that define MINOVA. Following the welcome address by the company’s co-founder and Managing Director Gudrun Theuerer, who reflected on the company’s early beginnings and its development over the years. It became clear that MINOVA has grown together with its customers. Accordingly, she expressed her sincere gratitude to all the guests who attended the celebration.
Afterwards, the team leaders presented selected highlights from the various product areas and provided insights into current developments. CTO Dr. Slavi Dombrovski took the guests on a journey into MINOVA’s future, outlining the company’s vision and the direction in which it will continue to develop over the coming years.
A central theme of the evening was the values and principles that define MINOVA:
- Conducting business in accordance with the principles of the “Honourable Merchant”,
- a commitment to long-term, trust-based partnerships with customers, business partners and employees,
- and a dedication to the common good, reflected, among other things, in the preparation of our Common Good Balance Sheet.
This MINOVA DNA was evident throughout the entire event and was repeatedly highlighted by our guests.
Following the official programme, the celebration continued in the charming town of Sommerhausen, which is renowned not only for its culinary delights and cultural heritage but is also the home of our co-founder and Managing Director, Wilfried Saak. At the historic town hall, he welcomed the guests in his capacity as Mayor and shared fascinating insights into the town’s history.
Afterwards, our guests explored a piece of Franconian wine culture in three groups, choosing between a wine tasting, a sparkling wine tasting or a liqueur and spirits tasting. The day concluded with a shared dinner at Flohrs, where we rounded off the evening in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.
Finally, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to all our employees, customers, partners and companions who have supported and accompanied us over the past 25 years – and to everyone who joined us in celebrating this special anniversary and made it an unforgettable day. We would also like to extend our special thanks to the Flohr family for their warm hospitality and the excellent food.
